ndependent travel in Europe - Seven Secrets for Success
One: Do not try to see and do too much.
You may end up actually seeing very little. I think it is better
to see more of fewer countries/regions and see them properly.
You may not want to stay in one location for your whole trip.
However if you choose carefully it may be possible to do several
day trips from one central location. If you do decide to tour,
consider spending at least two nights in some of your
destinations. It can be ...

The Azores - not the most obvious place to consider for a holiday, but one which will reward a closer look for anyone looking for something out of the ordinary. In June of 1999, Kathi and I took a Globus tour of Italy - their
"Italian Mosaic." Before leaving for the trip, I borrowed a
Steadicam Jr. from a good friend in Los Angeles who is a film
editor. I wanted to use it with my home video camera to shoot
better quality home movies while on this "once in a lifetime"
trip. The Steadicam Jr stabilizes the camera and completely
eliminates any shaking.
The 21-day (with two extensions) trip was absolutely wonderful!
The group of about 25 people on the tour ...

Question of trust was always critical on the web and as
generally known web today is one of the weakest place in regard
to protection of someone's privacy or rights. It affects almost
all industries on the web and hotel reservation as well. This
issue becomes more important while the industry expands. The
percentage of internet-based hotel reservations was tripled in
2004 to 15.4 percent from 4.9 according to Andersen LLP. It is
generally known that 85% of Internet users rely on search

Holiday travel to distant, more unusual destinations is no longer just the remit of the seasoned adventurer. With the expansion of cheap flight options, more and more resorts, that were previously "off the radar" for the traditional holidaymaker, are now available. The Gambia, situated on the west coast of Africa is one such option. The major benefit of this location is undoubtedly its climate, which boasts almost year round daily sunshine and very agreeable subtropical weather. Rainfall is ...

Reviving a vanishing art form has become a passion and a business for Leucadia artist Roderick Treece, owner of RLT Custom Glass Signs and Mirrors in Leucadia, California.
Utilizing both nineteenth century techniques and modern technology Roderick creates one-of-a-kind antique mirrors. Part of what makes each piece unique is that the artwork is in the mirror, it's not just a mirror in an elaborate frame. Indeed, his custom mirrors feature a broad range of textures, colors and finishes. "I can ...
